The Brazilian Football league is back this week in Melbourne

After the end of the World Cup in Brazil and the 4^TH place of the Brazilian National team in the competition, many of the fans are “orphans” and missing football daily. The good news for all the Brazilian is that the Brazilian Football League, “Campeonato Brasileiro” in Portuguese,  is back this week with many matches and players. The tournament stopped for almost one month because of the World Cup.

The tournament is one of the most traditional tournaments in Brazil and started in 1959. Santos and Palmeiras are the most successful clubs of the Campeonato Brasileiro, having won the competition 8 times each

The actual Champion Cruzeiro fights to keep the first position  in the tournament with 19 points.  Cruzeiro is followed by Fluminense, Corinthians and Sao Paulo.
