Olympic Games 2016: In one month, the most important athletes of the world will be in Rio de Janeiro.

The city of Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil, is in countdown for to Olympic Games 2016. For the first time the country and the South America will receive the biggest sport event. Rio 2016 will happen between 5and 21^st August.

Almost everything is ready in the Olympic Park, Maracanã, Deodoro, Engenhão. At Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, the stands have 7.5 km and everyone is invited to see the evidence of rowing and canoeing speed from any other point of the pond and even indoors.

 Besides this, the city has already started the training with the troops of the National Force. The plan will have more than 6,000 men in the arenas.

The hospitality of the city is also prepared. In the last five years, Rio doubled the amount of hotel rooms and over 90% of them are already reserved. Other improvement made for the Rio Government is in the transport system.

Locals and tourists will rely on an integrated transport system. The state government promises to deliver on 1 August 16 kilometers from the new metro line that will connect the South Zone to the Barra da Tijuca neighborhood, in the West Zone.
