FC Larcas is the Champion of the 2015 Gringo Soccer Trophy

FC Larcas is the Champion of the 2015 Gringo Soccer Trophy.

The Grand Final was last Saturday 09/05/15 at the Brisbane Strikers field located in Bowen Hills.

The last game was competitive and suspenseful, an exciting final! FC Larcas came to the finals for two reasons:

to be the champions and to win against Inter Team after losing the first game against Inter Team in the group stage. Inter Team came to win the championship. The match was kicked off by referee Murilo Formaggio.

FC Larca opened the score with a goal by Felipe Alves 2 minutes into the game (Leonardo passed the ball diagonally to Felipe Alves who scored the goal).

FC Larcas put the pressure on, attacking and playing stronger than Inter Team. While still in the first half, after a throw, Alejandro Colorado kicked the ball and passed it between his legs to tie the game.

Some time passed before Anderson received the ball and kicked hard to score the second goal for Inter Team. So the first half scored 2-1 to Inter.

During the second half of the game, both teams focused on attacking and scoring. Eight minutes in, Felipe Alves passed two defenders to score another goal for FC Larcas.

The game continued smoothly and soon Guilherme kicked the ball to the goal keeper and Leonardo passed the ball with his chest to Felipe who tried to kick the ball back to the goal keeper.

Leonardo was beside the beam and kicked the ball into the goal!

Five minutes before the end of the game the goal keeper from Inter Team tried to deflect a ball and was injured, stopping the game for about 5 minutes.

David Garcias, the goal keeper, preferred to continue playing. Again Felipe Alves scored a goal on the side of the field and kicked the ball across the goal.

He couldn't see where the ball went! After that, Inter Team changed their keeper and suffered yet another goal from Felipe Alves!
