Brisbane Roar striker talks about his career and expectations for the end of the preliminary stage of the Premier League

 With only two games to go till the end of the Premier League, Brazilian Henrique de Andrade seems calm and optimistic.

In a relaxed conversation with his wife and two sons, the player talked to our team and proved to be very confident. He says there are no new plans for the future, at least for now.

The Brazilian 30-year-old is living his best season in Australia playing for Brisbane Roar.

A few days before the end of his contract with the team, the player praised the league’s organization.

He tells us that he has not renewed his contract with the club but isn’t ruling out the possibility. Henrique has proved fundamental for the smooth running of the team.

Henrique joined Brisbane Roar initially as a temporary replacement in February 2009, recommended by a friend. He impressed coach Frank Farina in his first appearance, when the player left the field with a victory of the Brisbane Roar over the Central Coast Mariners by 2-1 in 2009.

In the same year Henrique signed his first one-year contract with the Brisbane Roar on March 4.

For Henrique, all that matters now is to stay focused for the next game which is happening today at 5 PM at Suncorp Stadium. The Brisbane Roar need to win, to qualify for the final preliminary round of the Premier League which will take place in Melbourne.
