Feb, 17, 2012 Manly, Australia. Alex Ribeiro also known as the `Orelhinha` is focused on winning one of the places for the elite of world surfing in 2015.  

Season begins this Monday at Manly Beach in Australia, however Alex is going to participate in the second phase of the event because it is pre ranked in in the tournament.

He is focused almost two months of competition, that's why the South American champion hopes to have a great performance this year.

`I have been training for 2 weeks at Hawai and I have been almost 6 days in Australia. I am working hard every day to achieve my goal.

How I am pre ranked probably I am going compete only Tuesday or Wednesday. I am focus on what I want and I have got high hopes of winning this competition.` - told the brazilian

Alex has participated twice in the competition in Australia and his best result was a 5th place in 2012. For Manly Beach, the Brazilian tells that has a strategy to win.

`The expectations are very high for this stage because the Manly beach is very similar to where I live. I feel very well prepared and I am going to get a good result in the competition`- concludes
