2016 SUNSHINE COAST CHAMPIONSHIP OF Jiu-Jitsu gathered competitors in Queensland

Martial arts is gaining importance in the world of sport. Here in Australia is not different. The Queensland Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Circuit (QBJJC) is Queensland's premier Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournament circuit. This weekend the championship gathered athletes in Sunshine Coast.
The Queensland has Premier Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament circuit has competitions every month.
Once a year it happens in Sunshine Coast. This time the event was held in Caloundra Indoor Stadium and was attended for 280 competitors, between women and men.
“The championship was excellent. It was bigger than the last year.
We had competitions in all categories and with different weight divisions.
Besides, we don’t have any problem with injuries”, explained Daniel Lima, director of Queensland Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Circuit.
According to him, the championship bring people from everywhere and with different nationalities.
“We had participates from Queensland and New South Wales. Brazilians who lives or are here and other nationalities too”, completed him.
The winners received a medal, and in category Absolute they also received awards, as a kimono.
