What to wear?

Lately I have had many invitations to barbeques and casual afternoon get together events with friends, and I am always going through my cupboard looking at what I can wear. 

Girls, ever wonder what to wear to a barbeque or casual afternoon event? You never know if you will be sitting on the grass, in a comfortable chair or standing or if you will be in shade from the sun or directly in the sun.

There are many cute dresses long and short that go perfect with flat shoes or wedges.  Maxi skirts with a casual singlet top or shirt are always a good choice and very comfortable.

Although my favourite choice of outfit for a casual afternoon event is usually jeans, a casual top, flat shoes and nice jewellery to add a bit more to the outfit.  I always like to be prepared and take a light cardigan as well in case the weather turns cool in the evening (picture below). This way I know I will be comfortable and not wishing I had worn anything else and feel relaxed and enjoy the time with my friends and socialising!
