The Colour Run Tropicolor World Tour 2016 is happening on Sunday, 17/07, at Cbus Super Stadium in Gold Coast. The event marks the fifth anniversary of The Colour Run and promise to celebrate with more fun, more sun, and even more colours.
The Colour Run is a five-kilometre un-timed run. The event mix sport and fun. The participants are doused from head to toe with our coloured powder at each kilometre. In the end, the Colour Runners, as they are called, can burn a few extra calories in a party with music, dancing and more Colour Throws.
According the organization in this edition the participants will experience an all-new Tropicolor Zone™ on course, where they will be bathed in a tropical array of colours and delicious island scents as they pass through the shade of palm trees, arches, and island-style music. Each runner will receive a limited-edition Tropicolor race shirt, finisher’s medal on a floral-printed ribbon, embroidered headband, and fun temporary tattoos.
The event happens in a lot of cities in Australia, and has donated about $1.5 million for more than 50 charities within Australia since 2012.
The stadium is Centreline Pl, Robina, Queensland, Australia 4226 and the tickets are available on http://thecolorrun.com.au/event/gold-coast/
