Orlando Bloom has been snapped canoodling with Erica Baxter as their exes Miranda Kerr and James Packer meet in New York hotel

It’s the love quadrangle that wouldn’t be out of place in a Hollywood screenplay. Erica Baxter, ex-wife of James Packer, has been snapped canoodling with Orlando Bloom just months after his divorce from Miranda Kerr — the woman with whom Packer is now involved.

The pictures were taken yesterday of the long-time friends — both 37 — aboard the Packer yacht in Ibiza. Bloom can be seen resting his arm lovingly on Baxter’s back before he pulls her in for an intimate snuggle. The pair were later captured letting their hair down at a wild soiree on the Spanish island known for its wild nightclubs and all-day parties.

It’s understood that Baxter and Bloom have been friends for years and, ironically, were introduced by their ­respective exes, with the two glamour couples holidaying several times over the years, most recently in Tahiti in 2013.

Interestingly, both marriages ended just days apart in October last year. Meanwhile, the other half of this soap opera played out last week when Kerr visited a hotel in New York where Packer stays fuelling speculation the pair are still dating.

Adding more juice to this celebrity ­rebound extravaganza is the fact the pictures of the embrace between Baxter and Bloom come 48 hours after Bloom threw a punch at pop star Justin Bieber.

Bloom reportedly launched at the singer after Bieber taunted him about an encounter he had with Kerr while Kerr and Bloom were still married. A video circulating online shows Orlando attempting to land a punch, while Leonardo DiCaprio, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan reportedly cheered Bloom on.

And as if this could get any juicier, in April Bloom was spotted partying closely with a young brunette in a Los Angeles nightclub, none other than Selena Gomez, the one-time flame of Bieber.
