It’s springtime, and many events are going to take place in beautiful Brissy. One of them is the world famous Oktoberfest that is held in many cities around the world.
The festival has more than 200 years of history and is a great opportunity to experience some of the German traditions, eat an excellent meal, have a handcrafted beer and share time with your friends.

On top of that, the Brisbane version is considered as one of the most authentic and largest German festivals in Australia and one of the top 10 Oktoberfests around the world.
The event highlights are for everyone, from children, teens and adults to the whole family with a cuddle farm, a puppet theatre, rides, face painting, a cars exhibition and a fashion show. At the German connection tent, you can find out about live shows and much much more.
The festival is going to be held at the Brisbane Showgrounds, Bowen Hills. Additionally the event is going to take place over two weekends (October 9-11 and 16-18). If you are keen on German culture or if you want to try something different, don’t hesitate to head to one of the most fun events of the month.
