North Korea: Will it be the world’s next holocaust horror?

North Korea: Will it be the worldâ

The world keeps witnessing the horrors that escape out of what is arguably the worst place on earth. Ironically the worst and least democratic place on earth is named the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea or North Korea as we know it. But how many horrors does the world have to witness before we step in?

After the horrors that occurred during WWII, the world vowed that nothing like that would happen again and the UN was born. But yet again a country is being ruled under an authoritarian socialist regime by a dictator and nothing is being done to stop it.

Word spreads from refugees that have risked their lives to escape North Korea about labor camps that bare similarities to Hitler’s concentration camps, total suppression of free speech, and starvation.

Currently 200,000 prisoners are in labor camps and 12 million don’t have access to basic human needs all because of one man leading a government. Supreme leader Kim Jong-Un has violated more human rights acts than anyone can keep track of, so why is it still happening?

In WWII, measures were taken by many countries around the world to take down the Third Reich for similar crimes that are being committed by Kim Jong-Un. Although the world has the benefit of social media, allowing news of injustices to spread quickly, nothing is being done to help the victims of the North Korean regime.
