The Latin American Film Festival in Australia is about to begin. It is the 11th time that the
festival will take
place in many cities around the country including Brisbane. The event is organised by
the Latin American
Embassies and the University of Queensland with the intention to enhance the relations
and knowledge
about Latin American culture. On top of that, admission is free and the event will be taking
place at
the St. Lucia campus, Steele Building number 3, room 206.





A selection of 12 contemporary movies, all from different countries around Latin America, will be presented in this edition. The event will be inaugurated on this Wednesday October 14th and finished on the next Tuesday October 20th.  The movies selection includes international award winning pieces and shows different kinds of topics and genres, including drama, comedy, romance, documentary and more.
