Le Noir is a spectacle that combines theatrical performances with circus displays. The show is the work of a strong backstage team, and 22 circus performers who are recognized athletes, and many of them are former stars of Cirque Du Soleil.

Their premiere in Australia will have place at the Lyric Theatre, which is conditioned to seat an audience around the circular stage, needed to give a 360 degree view of the show. It contains two acts of 50 minutes each.

Le Noir receives its name from the distinctive colors on stage: white, red and black, giving a dark and bold atmosphere to the spectacle. The different acts involve the aerial hoop, a duo trapeze, a hand balance act, jugglers, acrobats and comedians, all with a display of flexibility, strength and even sense of humor always with elegance and sophistication.

An act that is worth mentioning is the Colombian Wheel of Death, where outrageous acts and stunts are executed inside different circle parts

Le Noir is presented by Queensland Performing Arts Centre between August 1st to 17th , and it has been described as “.. impossible in ways that defy the imagination...” by The Straits Times
