It’s racing season and everyone loves dressing up

It’s racing season and everyone loves dressing up and going to the horse races. For some of us it’s to watch the horses’ race and put on bets but we all have to admit that the fashion plays a very important role when it comes to the horseraces.

Although, It’s the women that stand out from the crowd (even though the men always look handsome) it’s the women that grab the attention especially for the headwear they wear. Here area few tips that may help you when deciding an outfit:

• Try and choose a fascinator / hat first, even though the dress is important the headpiece is supposed to be the main focus. Once you get the perfect headpiece find a dress that matches and it will compliment it.

• Always choose heels / shoes that are comfortable but of course still stylish. And if you will be walking on grassy areas try go for wedges or a thicker heel rather stilettos (or you will sink in the grass).

• Find jewellery and accessories that will flatter the outfit rather than overpower it.

• The horseraces are supposed to be an elegant and classy event, so leave the short dresses / skirts for the night club and go for the sophisticated look.
