The Crisafulli Government is celebrating Queensland's youngest residents and their families with the latest G'day Little Queenslanders event in Toowoomba.

The free, family-friendly events are all about bringing together the State’s youngest residents and their families, for a morning of fun, laughter, and activities including everyone’s favourite heelers, Bluey and Bingo.

The event at Newton Park in Newtown on October 18, will feature live children’s entertainment and activities including the Live Interactive Experience with Bluey and Bingo, food trucks, and welcoming spaces to relax and connect.

It’s just one of the ways the Crisafulli Government is delivering a fresh start and a plan for Queensland’s future, while also ensuring parents have access to must-know government resources and local services.

Parents can also register their children aged 0–2 years to receive a personalised certificate at the event and the first 200 little Queenslanders to arrive at the event will receive a free kids' bucket hat.

Premier David Crisafulli said each of the G’day Little Queenslanders events had a strong local focus.

“G’day Little Queenslanders is about celebrating life’s early milestones for our youngest Queenslanders, bringing families together and building community connections,” Premier Crisafulli said.

“It’s a great opportunity for people from Toowoomba and surrounds to connect with a wide range of supports available, including government resources and health services.

“These events are being held in communities across the State so every family, no matter where they live in Queensland, can feel supported while celebrating their little ones.”

Treasurer and Member for Toowoomba South David Janetzki said G'day Little Queenslanders would be a wonderful opportunity for young families from across the Darling Downs to come together, celebrate and connect.

“This event is yet another way we’re supporting families and young people in the community, providing them with alternative ways to build connection and develop our young people’s social skills,” Mr Janetzki said.

Member for Toowoomba North Trevor Watts said Toowoomba was such a special place to raise a family, and events like G'day Little Queenslanders show exactly why.

"Supporting young families isn't just about the big milestones - it's also about making sure parents and carers know what help is out there, from health services to local support networks, right here in our own backyard," Mr Watts said.

"I'd encourage every family in Toowoomba and the surrounding districts to come along, meet Bluey and Bingo, and enjoy this special event and hopefully take home some of the joy and knowledge you often discover when watching a Bluey episode."

Member for Condamine Pat Weir said he was proud to support initiatives such as G’day Little Queenslanders.

“Giving children the best possible start in life means supporting their health and wellbeing, as well as the families who care for them," Mr Weir said.

"G’day Little Queenslanders will help bring families from across our region together, creating connections with other parents, local services and support networks now and into the future.”

Member for Lockyer Jim McDonald said he was proud to support initiatives which promote children's health, wellbeing and a strong sense of community.

"Community connection matters, especially for young families,” Mr McDonald said.

"G’day Little Queenslanders provides an important opportunity for farming and rural families to connect with services, access support, and build stronger community networks."
