Forró in Australia

Last night in West End was a typical Brazilian night .

Eddie Gazani and Forró Brazil showed us how to dance `bailão`. The show was exciting and it pleased every one. It was hard to see someone who was not dancing.

Eddie sang everything from Luiz Gonzaga to the most current music of the Brazilian `Forró` .

The Brazilians who were there felt at home. Even those people who were not Brazilian still joined in on the dancing and had a great time.

For who doesn`t know Forró is a genre of Brazilian music that originated in Northeastern Brazil. It encompasses various dance styles as well as a number of different musical beats.

This music genre has gained widespread popularity in all regions of Brazil.

Forró is closely associated with Brazilian June Festivals, which celebrate a number of Christian saints.
