Brisbane’s demand for Latino Food on rise: Where to get your Latino delicious-ness.

Brisbane is not unfamiliar with cultural food diversity. West End alone boasts a diverse culinary community of Greek, Indian, Peruvian, Mexican, Eritrean, Italian, and a whole assortment of Asian from Vietnamese and Thai to Tibetan and Chinese.

But West End in particular seems to be asking for a more Latino food. It already has Beach Burrito and El Torito under its wing (as all as Red & White, a Peruvian restaurant that is technically in South Brisbane but hey West End is better) and now its markets are seeing more and more Latino food stalls.

The West End markets at Davies Park on Saturday mornings are the place for South American juices from Guava to Longan. There you can also get a range of South American savoury foods such as Venezualan corn parcels as well as a variety of desserts.

The West End Boundary Street markets on Friday, Saturday and Sunday offer a range of South American foods and if you’re lucky sometimes even South American live music.
