Rye Hunt, who has been missing above two weeks, used drugs and had a psychotic break

 The Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro continuous seeking for the Australian Rye Hunt, 25, who have been missing since the last 21. They reported that the Australian was seen for the last time in Cotunduba Island in Leme, south of Rio. According to the investigation, he had a psychotic break after consuming a drug called MD, which has effects similar to ecstasy and alcohol.

The Australian left the airport in a taxi to Copacabana, where he was approached on the street by a woman who rents apartments for tourists. With the support of the Maritime Cluster of The Fire Department, the police sought around the island where the Australian was seen. However, as he has not been found yet, agents believe he may have tried to return to the beach to swim.

In a statement released overnight, family members said they were worried by police reports Mr Hunt had become paranoid and anxious after taking drugs.

Australian relatives are In Rio. According to a statement released by the family, the uncle and the girlfriend of the young are in the country to monitor and assist in searches of Rye.
